Pros
- Compile. Tag Team is fun but 1. it's fairly random. certainly not as tactical as Compile.
- Compile is genuinely incredible with nearly limitless combinations of ways to play. Absolute recommend.
- Compile is one of the best at this. 2 player though.
- That would open up the choice to stuff like **Compile**, **Duel for Middle Earth**, **Tag Team** or **Unmatched** for excellent 2p games
- Really nice card quality. It doesn't show up in pictures, but they have holographic finishes on them. Smaller box and table precense due to it being strictly cards... Bigger decision space since you are playing from a hand, and also play...
Cons
- It is a much longer game than Tag Team. Generously, Tag Team is over in about 20 minutes, but compile took closer to 30 or 40 minutes... We had to look up rules much more often than Tag Team. The rulebook is good for getting you set up a...
- Compile is rather competitive so that might not be best for your partner.

Really nice card quality. It doesn't show up in pictures, but they have holographic finishes on them. Smaller box and table precense due to it being strictly cards... Bigger decision space since you are playing from a hand, and also playing into one of three lanes. Some wildly swingy effects that made our jaws drop.
It is a much longer game than Tag Team. Generously, Tag Team is over in about 20 minutes, but compile took closer to 30 or 40 minutes... We had to look up rules much more often than Tag Team. The rulebook is good for getting you set up and playing, but there were some edge cases that stumped us on how they worked.
I think Compile is ultimately the deeper game with more replayability... if I had to choose which to keep, it'd be Compile.
If I have time and a skilled opponent, then Compile is a great game. But because it is a more skill-based game, it can be more difficult to find an opponent of a close enough skill level to keep interesting.
Compile is simple, but has a ton of replay value and surprising complexity.
Compile is a simple but quite deep experience, this is enjoyed by my game group AMD my wife and kids. There’s variety, amazing art, great combos, and just a great time. I recommend compile.
