Common Projects

Pros

• The two types of sneakers advocated the most on here seem to be either all-white minimalist Common Projects or mostly white sneakers like Nike Killshots.
• i have also worn my beaten up common projects to jeff rosenstock, twice, no issues.
• Back to Common Projects - never had an issue on quality or customer service.
• Look up Common Projects; again, expensive, but probably worth it.
• The old tried and true common projects recommendation. Or are those not slim enough?

Cons

• Common Projects gave me the same exact problem. Paid $400+ for shoes that felt like wearing wooden blocks. The break-in period is a myth with those - they just stay stiff forever.
• I had a pair of Common Projects that never broke in properly - just destroyed my heels for two years straight.
• Most people will say Common Projects (I am assuming Achilles Lows here) are overpriced for what they are, but the silhouette they provide is not easily replicated by other brands for good reason.
• It feels like CP made a good bit of money off their sneaker, a million clones appeared, they needed revenue, and they slapped the gold lettering on a chelsea to extract whatever value may still exist in the brand?
• I really don’t expect even a pair of common projects or something to stay looking clean and nice after two or more years
