Pros
- I’m in Colorado so obviously Texans would know better, but I’ve never seen an ICE raid or even an ICE agent.
- If you really want some mountains I can vouch for Colorado an amazing place especially in the summer. Pikes peak and Rocky Mountain national park especially the dream lake trail is one of the best.
- I will say Colorado is pretty awesome, you could certainly stop at a park in downtown Boulder and enjoy the flat irons.
Cons
- If altitude might be an issue for some family members, then avoid Colorado on this trip. Despite what some other people have replied, it can be a problem, even in Denver. I know more than a handful of people who have a difficult time adj...
- I think i’m mostly worried about where we live. We live in Colorado, near alot of military bases. I’ve always felt like the area we live in would be targeted if tensions reached a certain point.
- You should be more worried that it’s in the high 60s in February on the eastern side of Colorado and that there’s no snow, we’re in for a very dangerous fire season.
- There's plenty of snow in the mountains in Colorado. Expert skiers aren't happy because there isn't as much as usual, which has limited expert terrain a bit, but there's likely to be a few more big storms this season, and every ski resor...

There's plenty of snow in the mountains in Colorado. Expert skiers aren't happy because there isn't as much as usual, which has limited expert terrain a bit, but there's likely to be a few more big storms this season, and every ski resort in Colorado will still be in full swing during the first week of March. The beginner terrain usually has the most consistent conditions for the longest time.
