Pros
- Maybe Cole Haan? They definitely have some foot supporting wide professional styles.
- Cole Haan at Oak Park Mall has decent options too if you want that athletic sole technology.
- but if you're on a budget try Cole Haan or Johnston and Murphy
- Cole Haan does class and comfort well IMHO.
- Not big clunky Dad sneaks, more like something along the lines of Josef Siebel or Clarks/Cole Haan.
Cons
- I've seen waterproof options from Sorel or Cole Haan, though I prefer the look of brands like Thursday.
- They’re previously high end shoemakers that were bought and sold over and over until the current quality and materials are terrible, but at least they’re cheap.
- Anyone have an ID on these Cole Haan’s?
- G-III Apparel group owns (co-owns?) both GH Bass and DKNY, so that explains that part of your ordeal. They also own Cole Haan
- Any brand that used to be great quality but was purchased by private equity or big corporate and is now a husk of its former self. ... Cole Haan and Trask footwear, Waterman pens, Calphalon pans, Cuddledown bedding, Lands End and many, m...

1) SHOES: *Cole Haan.* They’re not awful but buying at their new price point is insanity. For $15 on eBay or a thrift store - go right ahead. But for $350 new? Fuck no, go elsewhere.
Cole Haan does class and comfort well IMHO.
