Pros

  • I usually had a good experience in CDG

Cons

  • If CDG - forget it.
  • C’est court, et CDG est immense. Le plus safe reste d’arriver en taxi directement à notre terminal
  • From other posts on the sub, CDG doesn't appear to be very popular aha
  • In all seriousness, don’t mess around when it comes to time. CDG is hell on earth. I flew from Boston to CDG to connect to Portugal. I had 1h35m and almost missed my plane because of how terrible that airport is. I avoid it like the plague.
  • CDG is bad, FRA and AMS can potentially be bad. LHR is to be avoided at all costs :-)

CDG can barely handle standard luggage transfers; add any variation and your bags have more or less the same probability of finding themselves at CDG, as they do in Tokyo, back in Bangalore or all the way in Toronto.

CDG was designed by someone who hates humanity and has perhaps never been in an airport. The terminals almost certainly aren’t connected so you’re going to need to take transport between them. You’re going to have to go though passport control and security again. Don’t dawdle because the lines can get quite long.
