Cartographers

Pros
- I would recommend looking at Wavelegth, Faraway, Cartographers, Trio, and Flip7.
- **Cartographers** or **Citadels** might be the safest bet.
- Cartographers is a good one. It's not interactive at all, if that matters, but it's popular for a reason.
- Cartographers - Roll and Write (though technically a "flip" and write here)... (and have played so I can personally vouch for them as well)
- Here are some of my favorite gateway games, that are easy enough to learn, but still let you make lots of interesting skillful decisions: Tile drafting and/or building a map: Kingdomino, Carcassonne, Cascadia, Cartographers
Cons
- Upon playing it, it seemed weird how you're creating this map and then you pass it to your neighbors so. many. times. It's almost as if they're adding more to it than me. ... The amount of negative interaction in there is too much.

For more involved stuff, maybe check out Duel for Middle Earth or a roll and write like Cartographers.
**Cartographers** for a flip and write game about map making.

*Cartographers* plays quite independent of player count, as you work on a personal map.
When we have too large of a playgroup we usually do one quick game that can accommodate everyone (Welcome To & Cartographers both scale up for a ton of people easily).
