When we arrived in Cape Town, we had to wait for security personnel to escort us the like 20 steps from our taxi to our hotel, which really threw us off. On the drive to a safari, there were signs on the road saying "Hijacking Zone. Do not stop."
Went to Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Kruger park with my mom. It can be a long flight, but safaris are amazing/unforgettable and in terms of mobility - most of it is sitting.

So I had the pleasure of being in Cape Town for almost a month. I spent the time kayaking, cycling and generally exploring the grea outdoors! Fun fact, i spoke more German in that time thsk this entire year in Zurich 😂😂😂
