Pros

• CapCut is not a very heavy app to run, that will run on any recent M series Mac
• I usually use my laptop for watching lectures, doing school work and some time editing videos on Capcut.
• I use the capcut subscription which is waaaay more accurate and makes longer ones too.
• Quick, high-powered video editor for mobile clips and montages.
• Capcut imo

Cons

• CapCut's free tier is watermark-free on your own footage, but 4K export depends on your hardware rather than being guaranteed.
• it doesn't feel like a TikTok toy the way CapCut or InShot do.
• CapCut's not really it anymore, watermarks everywhere now unless you pay.
