  • I hate canola oil. Just nasty stuff.
  • To me canola oil smells like fish when heated. I wont use it anymore, just use corn oil occasionally.
  • I have found this is a frequent problem with vegetable and canola oil, sometimes nuts and snacks too, like last 5 years or so. Rancid plastic/oil taste.
  • This is a matter of personal preference but for me, canola oil is worthless, useless calories. I don't believe any of the hype about it being heart healthy at all.
