Pros

• One of my last Uber rides in Brazil was in a BYD. It was pretty cool. I think it was a Dolphin.
• I own a Tesla and BYD Dolphin, it’s not as small as you would think and it gets 450km of range. Our country has some of the strictest safety laws in the world, many American vehicles don’t pass here. Dolphin smashed em.
• Death traps? byd dolphin, seagull, atto all have 5 star safety ratings.
• both it and the seagull have nice ratings in the euro ncap thing so the american ones must not be too difficult to pass
• The BYD Dolphin all-electric hatchback’s cumulative sales has exceeded one million units, making it the fastest vehicle of its type in China to reach this milestone

Cons

• The company began pre-sales of the Lafa 5 in China on November 7, to compete in the electric hatchback market against models including the Volkswagen ID.3, SAIC MG4, BYD (HKG: 1211) Dolphin, and Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) Firefly EV.
• its price places it closer to the BYD Seagull (70,000 CNY for the 30 kWh version) than the BYD Dolphin (100,000 CNY).
