Bulleit

Pros

• Parent context: any other recs ive had bulleit the other weekend and thought it was amazing in a simple sour. Reply: imo bulleit rye is good, the bourbon is a bit underwhelming for the price.
• bulleit, and Woodford are great options as well with Woodford being on the more oakey/woody dry side and bulleit sort of splitting the difference between the two
• I’ve recently been using Martell Blue Swift, which is VSOP finished in bourbon casks and Bulleit for the rye component. Delicious!
• Follow your heart. Or get some bulleit and get drunk enough to make impulsive decisions.

Cons

• I had 3 bottles of rye in my life: Bulleit, Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey.
• Again ymmv but I personally don’t care for any of Bulleit’s products at all
• Bullett and Dickel are probalby the most widely available versions of it and unfortunately it doesn't really capture the awesomeness of MGP 95/5 can be.
• The big difference is: we all know there’s better bourbon than Bulleit these days and the revolver spec isn’t all that memorable without the performative fluff.
