Bugonia

Pros

• Idk, I think each of Stone and Plemons were essential to making this work as far as being the “real star.” Great movie.
• It was 10/10. Probably my second favorite movie this year after Weapons. For anyone looking to watch Bugonia, don't read about it. Just watch the teaser and go in blind.
• This movie was great. Stone is fantastic and Plemons is even better. One of my favorites of the year, definitely check it out if you’re on the fence.
• I loved this weird ass movie!
• This sounds like exactly my kind of “trapped in a room with unhinged people” stress-watch lol. I love when a thriller makes you go ok wait what if they’re right for like 10 seconds. The dark comedy angle makes it even creepier to me.

Cons

• I liked the overall message but I found the characters just didn't have that larger than life quality I wanted from a movie with only 3 main roles. The plot felt pretty standard and even the ending was predictable.
• Regardless of the quality of Stone’s performance in this new film, it will probably be a tough sell to a lot of Academy voters to give such a young person another Oscar
