  • stop at Bryce Canyon VC (30m), Rim Trail Hike (52m), Inspiration Points Hike (2h), Paria View for sunset (52m)
  • From there, do Moab, Capital Reef, Bryce and Zion. If you have not done this section of the world, you are missing out and it makes no sense to drive all this way and miss these areas.
  • Cheap flights to Vegas, rent a car, stay in St George or Hurricane for Zion NP, then over to Bryce and/or Arches, loop back down through Page and see Grand Canyon, then back to Vegas.
  • Bryce isn't as hardcore, and honestly you can enjoy it even just driving to overlooks.

Cons

  • But Idk if I should cut out Bryce to give an extra day to Zion or cut out Monument Valley because I really want to see it

I would have liked a second day in Zion, but one day was plenty for what we wanted to do in Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon.

Check out the national parks over there: Zion, Bryce, Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon and fly back to LA from Vegas. It's a cheap 45 minute flight and will save tons of time driving.

Canyonlands and Zion are truly priceless, and Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, & Arches are all unique and have their own charms.

Not exactly a hidden gem- but our kids (and us!) love the national parks in southern Utah. Zion is stunning. But we’ve also done Bryce, Arches and Capitol Reef.
