Brooks Running

Pros
- I wear oofos slides and brooks if my feet are especially sore.
- I’m an Asics and Brooks type of guy. My feet thanks me
- Brooks used to be pretty reliable with women's size 5.
- Brooks already 30% rn
- I'd suggest getting a good pair of walking / running shoes (Hoka, New Balance, Brooks, etc).
Cons
- I think Brooks and other shoe companies are sacrificing quality in the name of environmental sustainability. The new materials they’re using suck - the shoes wear out more quickly and they don’t support.
- For instance, Brooks are great shoes but they're terrible on my feet.
- Personally, I run in Brooks as they offer one of the few more minimal running shoes left on the market (Hyperion 2) but they're ugly AF and I wouldn't wear them outside of running.
- previous standbys like Brooks, Hickey Freeman, and J. Press either no longer sell them in store or the brand has changed completely
- I’ve tried Hokas, brooks and Saucony and all of them caused me either blisters or some kind of calf pain while running

I have severe plantar fasciitis and my Brooks have saved me so much pain. I was a little wary of dropping $150 or whatever on shoes but absolutely worth it. Love mine so much.
I’ve worn Brooks for years. They’re not BFL but they’re about the best you’ll get. I put mine in the washing machine when they get dirty. I replace them when the outsole is nearly worn smooth (6 months). I can easily do 15k steps a day in them and my feet don’t hurt.
