Breville Smart Grinder Pro

Pros

• I bought a Breville smart grinder pro, and used the machine for another eight years. Sold the machine recently after upgrading to something better but the grinder is still going strong. Pretty solid ROI!
• My coffee grinder pairing is a Breville Smart Grinder Pro I picked up off Marketplace new in box for $175 CAD.
• My Dad has asked me for help replacing his burrs on his Breville Smart Grinder--he doesn't want a new grinder, just to replace the burrs on the one he has, which he likes a lot.
• Then buy the breville smart grinder pro for 200.
• I’ve found it to be pretty good with dark and medium roasts as has been mentioned. I did need to adjust the internal burrs from 6 to 3 to get the precision needed.

Cons

• I was given a brand new Breville Smart Grinder Pro, I know it cops shit but I'm making great espresso on my Bambino Plus
• I’ve been using the Breville Smart Grinder Pro along with my Breville Bambino Plus now for over 5 years and looking for an upgrade.
• My research for grinders is where my indecision is living right now, overall I am seeing four names pop out the most in online "best of" lists: The Baratza Encore ESP, the OXO Conical Burr, the Breville Smart Grinder Pro and the Fellow Opus
• I figure anything is better than my Breville Smart Grinder Pro at this point.
• But, I am so over this Smart Grinder Pro. It is just…no. I am getting much better results with literally every other grinder I have ever used.
