Pros
- Braid was *very much* an indie darling when it came out... A good old hat, but old hat.
- One of my favorite games. Love how integrated the mechanics and the story are. A video game as art.
- One of my favorite games ever, never mind puzzle games. It's just so clever and mechanically sound. I love speedrunning it too, because once you get familiar enough with it, it's a 35-40 min session. Fun and quick.
- The beauty of the music is that its structure allows it to rewind along with everything else while still sounding nice. It’s a symphony that dances with the graphics.
- Beautiful game. Features highly on my list of games you wish you could experience for the first time again.
Cons
- Music is nice but nothing outstanding, and I preferred graphics of remastered version. It took me 6 hours but achievements say 45 minutes is minimal possible time.
- I can never think of this game or Braid without thinking about the clip of Jonathan Blow whining about everyone not understanding Braid
- Braid and The Witness are the ultimate example of “pretentious” games. But they are also incredible evidence that sometimes high-minded games-as-art wankery can be incredibly effecting.
- Braid is one of the most celebrated indie games from its era. It's also really unforgiving! I had the story spoiled for me by the person who recommended it to me, and after having to luck up multiple solutions, I decided it wasn't for me...
- About messing with time, rewinding time and other things like that. Your power over time that you use to solve the puzzles changes so the challenge stays new. Its not too long either. The story in this game was strange, did nothing for m...

It really is a remarkable puzzle platformer, with some very intricate mechanics for such a simple, short game, and it even has a story (of sorts)! Totally worth its fame, and usually pretty cheap too.
I had it on 360 back in 2009 and it was really good.
