Pros

  • I just got a Boox Go 7 BW and absolutely LOVE it. I don't have PDFs but I have been able to load Kindle, play books, book funnel, chirp, and audible apps and get all my books in one place.
  • The only note for the OP is that if he doesn't care about color and the pen I recommend the Go 7 BW model, it costs less and the black and white display is sharper and brighter (currently this is a limitation of color eink displays).
  • I'll be going with the Boox Go 7 BW. While there is a gap in price, it is something I am willing to pay so it's ok. The physical buttons are a big plus for me.
  • Boox Go 7 BW has Carta 1300 and page turn buttons - and I would assume some apps there have TTS too
  • If your main application is reading text then the Go 7 BW screen is great and you’d be disappointed with any colour screen.

Cons

  • I wanted to go for the boox go 7 bw but the note taking is horrible according to some reviews and i like to write alot.
  • I thought of getting a Palma 2 for ages and a couple months ago I got a Boox Go 7 BW. Now I wonder if I would have really enjoyed the Palma instead.
  • Boox Go 7 bw, Boox Go Color Gen II and Boox Palma

I had both Go 7 BW and color as well as original Palma and now Palma Pro. ... For me the only real factor with any BOOX device is the size; I need portability so for me the Go was better than the Note 4 and the Palma Pro better than the Go.

I currently use a Boox Go 7 BW, mainly for reading ePub novels in two-column mode with KOReader, plus some newspapers on PressReader.
