I wanted to love the Boox Go 6 so bad, and even seeing your post, part of me is going, "just give it another chance!" but like you mentioned, the slowness and battery life caught up to me and because I was used to speedier devices, it was hard for me to justify keeping it.
I love my Go 6. It's just a little smaller than my Kindle Basic and they are the perfect size for on-the-go.
If you decide to go with Boox, look at the Go 6 as it's cheaper than the Palma.
