Bianchi

Pros

• Parent context: Definitely sell it, you could probably get $200-300 for it, that's better than garbage right? Reply: Totally, if I was in the market for an around-town road bike this looks pretty nice, $200 sounds good.
• Very nice looking bicycle. Look around how much are other Bianchi bikes going for in your city or region and adapt the price.
• No Bianchi is garbage.
• I'd look for Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cannondale, Fuji, Bianchi, Kona, Surly, or Salsa.
• Bianchi is a premium brand; I would be surprised to see Claris on one of their bikes.

Cons

• Interestingly, I don’t see that many Colnago and Bianchi with younger people, and absolutely no Campagnolo on those bikes.
• Parent context: I’d love to get carbon, there was a bianchi I really liked but it seems these bikes are positioned to make you much more aero and that aggressive positioning is uncomfortable for me as a newbie Reply: I’d love to get carb...
• My commute is 17 miles roundtrip with about 800 feet of vert on my 17-year-old mid-range Bianchi that needs new bartape but my kids also need new shoes.
• Not even if free. Needs everything a bike can need.
• In my opinion, it’s an old, beaten up bike that’s not cool enough to justify working on it or investing in it.
