Flattest is definitely not the Beyerdynamic headphones in OP's photo. Just because the headphones say "Pro," and people see Twitch streamers using them, people somehow assume they must be the most neutral headphones.
Im not going to learn a new skill because a company designed their products poorly. Def wont be buying from them again.
However, you are not the first person who ever complained on hearing bass distort in Beyers headphones.
I also like Beyerdynamic and enjoy the highs... which is completely against popular internet opinion.
Beyer is pretty much just giving you an AutoEQ preset for a given unit (EQing to a specific rig's target). That is a pretty good starting point, but you'd want to make additional refinements via sine sweeps to get "flat" on your head if you want to mix with them.
Compared to Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic headphones break more often, but still very little compared to other brands.
