Batman: Arkham Origins

Pros

• I think the game is incredible in terms of atmosphere, compelling villains (one of the best renditions of Bane in Batman media), although I've forgotten most of the story.
• Origins is my favorite entry tbh. I love early batman, especially fighting corrupt cops.
• Will always love this one for the awesome Deathstroke boss fight. ... Music in Origins is great too.
• I remember enjoying this game when it first came out but kinda viewed it as a “less good” version of Arkham City. This game has some of the best boss fights in the series and I enjoyed the detective portions.
• Idk if this is a hot take or not but I feel it has the best narrative in the series. I somehow like this angrier, less mature version of batman more than the usual calm and collected batman.

Cons

• The plot started off more interesting than it ended. I like the premise of Black Mask hiring assassins to justify all the villains gathering in one place at night, but the Joker reveal felt contrived. ... The game crashed a few times dur...
• One thing I've noticed is that the melee combat feels off. Like the enemies will attack off rhythm. I think it's because they used Arkham City's Hard difficulty for melee combat.
• Origins: OK, nothing special, tried to be more of Arkham City but the pacing and overall quality wasn't anywhere near as good
• I always play Origins when I have the Arkham itch and go through all the games, but it’s the game I least want to play and explore after finishing the main story.
• Fortunately no that bad bugs this time, but still, there are huge amount of those remaining. For example, Deathstroke fight took me lots of retries to get it right, and when I finally got it (barely; and tool he dropped), batman just kep...
