Batman: Arkham Knight

Arkham Knight *should* have been the best, but the story lets it down big time, even though the gameplay and graphics are fantastic to this day.

I played the final entry of the Arkham series for 13 hours and found it very flawed. An excessive amount of side content, padding in the main plot, finnicky combat, and having too much Batmobile gameplay. They made a lot of control changes for keyboard and mouse from the other games I couldn't adapt to, so even though the combat and stealth segments were improved they felt much worse to play all the way through. Lastly, I’ll say I enjoyed the plot, but it was stretched way too thin to last the whole game.

Atleast Knight tried tho. That one was a decent but very flawed attempt at good cohesive storytelling.
