Alula- we stayed at Banyan Tree. This city is not ready for FAT traveling. The atmosphere is really the only reason to visit. The hotel was not to the standard of fat travel at all, from the lobby, the service, the concierge, the organization, the food to the housekeeping - all very sub par.

Overall the Banyan Tree is the better property. The villas are huge, modern and stunningly luxurious and you get your own pool. Both the indoor and outdoor space of your villa beats Habitas hands down. ... The luxury at Banyan Tree is a more quiet luxury, and the property is also beautiful, just not as wow as Habitas.
I also stayed at banyan tree and was upgraded to a 2 bedroom with a pool. It was newer and more modern. It was quiet when I was there but I believe the pool is also popular with influencers.
