Babylonia - This game is all about scoring conditions that can compound for ridiculous numbers of points. It divides your attention between spreading out and building a big network vs focusing on having majorities surrounding certain spaces.

Babylonia, Tigris & Euphrates, Iwari, and Hansa Teutonica are also fantastic games AND those other four are easy to get to the table.

Finally, Babylonia has a fairly big board. It is a bit more complex than Catan. In Babylonia, players put tiles on a shared board. It has some similarities to Through the Desert, but is a more complex game.

**Babylonia** is a tile laying game. It is definitely not a light game, and is either a mid-weight or on the border between light and mid. The decisions are pretty crunchy, but the rules aren't super complex.
