Pros
- If you’re not training at a high level, the AWU is more than enough. Garmin’s advanced metrics are really valuable only if you’re actively using them to adjust your training. For everyday life, the AWU covers everything most people need.
- If you need a facebook on the wrist go Awu or Samsung
- All my runs are in town, otherwise I bring my AWU ⌚️
- I’ve been wearing both and like them both for different reasons
- Don’t get me wrong the AWU was lovely, and all the smart watch Apple ecosystem features are fantastic and I’ll miss them.
Cons
- the AWU, with its almost entirely touch-based functions, isn't suitable for me; the screen is useless.
- Isn’t there really any official way to lock the input functions during an excersize? It’s a basic function in sports watches, but for some reason not with AWU.
- Just switched to this from an AWU and it feels incredible.
- AWU also lacks support for Ant+ based sensors for things like HR and cycling speed, cadence and power.
- That’s where the AWU had me hooked, I thought I was getting the best of both worlds. Now I realise that a lot of the stuff I thought were deal breakers I guess I don’t really miss it to much.
