Avatar: The Last Airbender

Pros

• It’s a really good show. Stick through the first few episodes. Character development etc is great. Story arc is great.
• Absolutely, it's incredible, but keep in mind that it's a nickelodeon show. I sort of bristled at it at first because it felt really childish at first. Stick with it, it's totally worth it.
• The Last Airbender was really good. If you enjoyed Buffy and didn’t mind the fantastical campiness (I say this with love), I think you could get into Airbender.
• Avatar the Last Airbender? Maybe he’s a bit young to follow the plot, but if he can, Aang is a great example of a male character who is brave and strong but not toxic or stereotypical. Uncle Iroh from that series is also an amazing chara...
• For me that was Avatar the last airbender, the Tamara Pierce books, Parks and Rec, etc.

Cons

• Season 1 is the kiddie TV show you will expect. So, just know, give the show some time to grow on you. However, it does have small hints of greatness.
• I tried using a VPN to watch Avatar the Last Airbender in mandarin but it messed with my Netflix and wouldn’t let me since I live in the US.
• I just remember being in a hotel room watching it, and I think it debuted in the same release window as Avatar: The Last Airbender.
