Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Pros

• Better than expected and still getting DLC and support.
• Have you played Avatar Frontiers of Pandora? That game easily has the most realistic forest settings I’ve seen in a game. It still amazes me how realistic that game looks. You honestly forget you’re looking at a video game.
• The sum of its parts still makes up a beautiful experience.
• the support they have been throwing at this game and outlaws has been spectacular. And these are buy once, single player games.
• I’ve been playing on my Pro, quality mode at 40fps VRR on my OLED. I’m not great at taking screenshots but this game is seriously stunning

Cons

• The third person movements and animations feel slightly awkward and floaty, indoor areas can feel kind of crowded, and a lot of the really gorgeous graphics and details of the planet look really good up close in first person
• I legit wanted to buy it and got turned off by the first person stuff.
• I’ve been switching back and forth and I can’t decide. I’m just happy to have the choice because exploring to me is better in first and combat in third
• I had higher hope and hype for Avatar and I was very disappointed. The first few hours were great but it got stale very fast with some very poor game design choice spoiling the game imho.
• Beat the campaign in February but it was only okay as an FPS, third person looks wayyyy more natural.
