Astro A50 Gen 5

A50. Sound great, not as immersive, but I have a blast on BF6, which whist is a FPS game, the audio design is still immense with the A50. The Mic is exceptional for a wireless headset mic. The battery is fantastic. The build quality is great (there’s a reason people still have their Astro a40’s). The wireless charging is great.

The A50’s whilst having smaller cups (I feel my ears very occasionally touching the pads), are much lighter, and I can wear them for absolute hours.

i really like the base for the a50. i think it even brings a charm to the setup.

The a50s seems more convinient, more comfortable, better mic, and its acutally cheaper - around $229 in walmart and maxwells are around $280-300.

The Astro A50 gen 5 legitimately sounds good and has 24 bit audio on PC. ... They did sound fantastic though!

i got the dt990 pro x yesterday coming from an Astro A50 Gen 5 (which is very good btw)

If you’re specifically looking for a wireless gaming headset then I’d get the Astro A50 Gen 5 because the mic is fantastic, it has very breathable fabric earpads for long sessions, and out of the box it has a fairly well-balanced sound compared to the Nova Pro and Blackshark.

Parent context: If you want the best audio quality, best comfort, and best mic quality all combined into a single wireless gaming headset that’s compatible with both Xbox and PS5, then it’d be the Astro A50 Gen 5. Reply: I've googled it, it's an amazing one but not in my budget range sadly
