Pros

  • TBH I love the Origins and Odyssey parkour where you could just climb literally anything!
  • I think honestly the last to do that was *Origins*, which gets a bonus unto itself for having the setting being so fitting for that aspect; Egypt a crown jewel to the ancient aliens/lost knowledge flavor.
  • I was admittedly a big fan of Origins, and I thought the story was fine and intriguing (if maybe dragging at a few points) that I played it and the DLC until about 95% completion
  • I enjoyed Origins but at that point I had taken a very long break from AC so it felt pretty fresh at the time.
  • The parkour feels like a step backwards from odyssey or origins. I get stuck on stuff, or I just can’t climb things.

Cons

  • This is worse than Origins or Odyssey as far as open world design go.
  • After playing some of their games back to back, this thought keep itching in the back of my head. Namely Assassin's Creed Origins, AC:Odyssey, and FarCry 4-6.
  • I felt similar, the game was so so but the world and running around ancient Egypt was fantastic.
  • I got Origins on a sale solely to run around the open world as a walking sim. ... Deleted the game when I got sent to get leather. Fifteen minutes of the most confusing, awkward an strangely uncomfortable gameplay I have ever experienced.
  • Starting off, I noticed poor camera angles, clunky combat and Bayek's voice acting was meh. ... This is one of the most beautiful worlds I've seen in a game. I cannot believe this was created by Ubisoft.

It seems okay'ish in AC: Origins but it's more a "meh" in both Odyssey and Valhalla.
