Apple Watch Sport Band

Pros

• Parent context: The bands are made with fluoroelastomer, which is a type of synthetic rubber that includes PFAS for durability and sweat resistance. Apple’s response was that the bands are safe to wear, and the actual PFAS levels haven’t...
• When I workout I want a very tight band so I use a trail loop, solo loop, or sport band.
• I honestly prefer the sport band and kept that on my series 8 24/7.
• The Sport Band is perfectly acceptable for the included band. Comfortable for what it is, decent adjustment.
• My favorite is the sport band. I have a few different bands and always come back to the sport band. It’s by far the most comfortable one to me

Cons

• The fluoroelastomer material contains PFAS, carcinogenic substances. There is already a lawsuit against this in Apple, the exact amount is not known, but there is. I do not recommend using either the sport band or the ocean band.
• PSA don’t swim with Sport Band: 3 Apple Watches found at bottom of Lake Huron
• By any chance, were you using the sport band? I always find Apple Watches with the sport band, I think it’s cause they can pop off easily.
• (The sport band isn’t the best, I know, the Sport Loop wasn’t available. I’ll be getting a different one soon though, any recommendations?)
