Detail is not good, but not bad. I don’t feel like I’m losing anything in heavily detailed and chaotic tracks like Raining Blood by Slayer, but it also doesn’t command attention or demand your focus to be enjoyable like other sets have for me.
These surprised me. I really wasn’t expecting much from these and in some ways they’ve exceeded my expectations, while in other ways they fall short.

For $60 you good looking and sounding IEM, but cheapo cable (extremely disappointing), standard/cheap tips (call me crazy and tell me it isn’t marketing BS about “K.I.S.S” in the description, and I would tell you “I’m not crazy, you’re the one who’s crazy!”). Also no case.

Yes this sounds great, and despite the physiological differences of how everyone hears, I think this will be a very consistent IEM. The bass is good, very present with good amounts of sub-bass and low mid-bass (70-90Hz), as well as decent presence in the solid mid bass region (130Hz). This gives guitars weight and power.
In my opinion, there is a slight too much eargain and lower treble around 2-5Khz and 7Khz (I would assume, haven’t looked at graphs yet), but I am particularly sensitive to those areas. With some songs it’s fine, others can be fatiguing and downright painful to listen to.
Recommendations for Apos: upgrade the cable. Offer more tips or foams.
Mid-high bass definitely bleed into low mids, overall the whole lower mid area sounds a bit bloated, but not bad. It gives a very atmospheric and warm quality to the sound, and I detect no 250Hz-ish artifacts, which is an area I am relatively sensitive to.
