Pros

  • I used to work for Anthropologie and I think that would be cute! I don’t know what accessories you’re thinking of wearing, but I think the base is great!
  • I feel new Anthropologie is what old Free People used to be.
  • Anthropologie or Banana Republic in cotton, linen, or silk. I sometimes buy secondhand.
  • Sorry to offer more US brands, but Anthropologie/Farm Rio have great options in this realm
  • Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Etsy, J. Crew (surprisingly enough), department stores (Macy’s, J. C. Penney, etc.), Hot Topic.

Cons

  • I’ve tried anthro and free people which leans too boho?
  • Anthropologie!!! I was recently there and they had some very *cute* sweaters that upon further inspection, felt like garbage, at a luxury cost.
  • I can definitely let some of these go, but I just counted 36 rings (only 6 of them nice rings, the rest basically from Anthropologie).
  • while I’ve looked at places like old navy/gap the colors are so boring and neutral. However the cute colors/prints at places like Anthropologie are pricey- $38 for a simple cotton tank.
  • Anthropology has some really unique pieces, I love a lot of their clothes, home decor and accessories but the prices are way too high for how low the quality and reviews seem to be.

Gap, Cos, Marcella NYC, & Anthropologie come to mind but honestly this sounds like it would just be ideal to get you into more traditional retailer in the spring
