  • I have been using the Voyage since it came out, and whilst there's nothing really wrong with it the battery life and Amazons closed ecosystem are starting to steer me to look into alternatives.
  • Some people who switch from premium Kindle models (PW, Oasis, Voyage, etc.) to Kobo models like the Clara and Libra feel like those Kobos' build quality isn't as good because the bodies have a more plastic feel.

Kindles have been among the best built. The Kindle Voyage, and the Kindle Oasis 2 & 3 are some of the best ereaders ever made. They both feel solid and well built and still premium all these years later.

i really recommend oasis (buttons) and voyage (haptive buttons) and ppw7th for older kindles because despite their age, those have REALLY nice screens.
