Pros
- It's too big city oriented IMHO, I'd try to include some nature(Alps for example) and small cities here and there.
- Loving mountains and lakes - Kyrgyzstan comes to mind, or Slovenia/alps? Both would be beautiful in July!
- You can literally see the main waterfall from the common area and feel completely surrounded by the Alps. Unreal.

Not really the best time for hiking in Scotland or the Alps. It will be cold and the days will be getting short. You will be arriving just in time for many cable cars in the Alps to stop for off-season. And many higher routes in the Alps might well be covered in snow.
