Alpaka Metro Pro

Pros

• Alpaka Metro pro checks most of the boxes
• Two great ones for you - On Sale [Alpaka Metro Pro] and a higher end, slightly larger and killer option, the [Black Ember Citadel 20L]. You can’t make a bad decision with either.

• The feature that sealed the deal on the metro pro for me is the “hidden” back pocket. My previous EDC had this and it was the perfect place to put my phone while commuting.

Cons

• The Alpaka Metro pro looks to fat for to me.
• Beside the urban style look which can fit you or not depending on your preference, the bag is definitely smaller than 24L, it feels more like 18L to me and there is a big issue with the main zipper easily interfering with the rain flap.
• Alpaka Metro Pro (central internal bottle pocket awkward, straps are said to be thin, comments say it's heavy)
• I was eyeing the Alpaka Metro Pro because I love a vertical quick access pocket but unfortunately I would really like an external water bottle holder, which the Metro Pro doesn't have.
• The metro pro is the slightly better looking bag IMHO but the half clam shell with the stiff X-Pac just didn't work for me. The other drawbacks mentioned online are also true, but they didn't bother me as much. It is also quite small.
