We stayed near tulum (Akumal) where a lot of the cenotes and other tours are for our honeymoon. We did a few tours and I can’t remember what the cenote was that we went to but there was one that the bus drove right up to each cenote so there was very little walking involved.
I’d recommend staying in Akumal, sleepy and much less crowded than PDC or Tulum.
