It is cheap because it’s very simplistic. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles and no smart features. People complain that it looks too industrial so that’s one of the other reasons that it’s cheap. But it’s a workhorse. It’s a great air purifier so if you don’t care about how it looks, it’s a wonderful choice.
