I failed the AI-901 exam today, and I’m honestly pretty disappointed. I used multiple resources in addition to Microsoft Learn, including practice exams, and I was consistently scoring above 80%. I also used Tutorials Dojo, but unfortunately I still didn’t pass the actual exam.

AI-901 (Azure AI Fundamentals) would be the first step on the AI certification journey. It covers elements of Microsoft Foundry, as well as the various Azure AI Services like Speech, Translation, Computer Vision, etc. It's a good one to do if for no other reason than to understand those capabilities are out there and what they do.

I already have AI-900
AI 901 was completely redone, it’s more developer centric now versus the old AI 900. AI 900 was pretty worthless, 901 if you don’t know any of the machine learning concepts and algorithms, no won’t get you a job but is good prep for the AI-103.
