Acebeam Pokelit AA

Pros

• I love it. The dim mode is awesome for just moving around the house without tripping while the other two brighter modes are handy for working or searching at a distance. I've got the ACEBEAM Pokelit AA.
• I'd always go for the Acebeam Pokelit AA as the starting choice, see what you like or dislike about it, then go from there
• The Acebeam Pokelit AA was my first and favorite tiny light. I love it.
• For a pocket, it also has high CRI which can be valuable for everyone, especially in technical work
• Acebeam Pokelit AA is my daily carry and its awesome

Cons

• However, I respectfully disagree since it falls more into the category of EDC light and doesn’t have the runtime, heat dissipation, or lumens as other recommendations for a casual extended use.
• Of the two you've recommended, I think I like the Acebeam the most - it wins points for coming in green, but I'm not sure about the clip - it looks like it's only clipped on, and in my pockets I can see that ripping off if I end up slidi...
• Acebeam offers multiple variants of the Pokelit AA. A 550 amd a 1000 lumen version. The “Arbitrary List of Popular Flashlights - Summer Solstice 2025 Edition” memtions to avoid the low CRI version.
• Parent context: Acebeam Pokelit AA. Put a new Energizer Lithium AA in it, twist the tailcap a few mm to disengage the switch, and you can leave it in your drawer for 10 years, pick it up and run it like it's fresh off the production line...
• I tried a Pokelit AA and that seemed to fit the bill but just couldn't deal with the mode memory, I want it to start and low and have quick half presses to go up from there.
