• A Little Life Basically every trigger warning going, you think it might eventually turn a corner but nope, just 750 pages of depression
• A Little Life 😭 everything that could go wrong does go wrong
• A Little Life. You will not be same person after finishing it. I read it two years ago and still think about Jude almost every week. Some people say it's torture porn but I don't care, it destroyed me in the best way.

• I agree about A Little Life. It is the saddest book I ever read. It is also eloquently written. And if your goal is simply to become unbearably sad while appreciating the author’s writing skills, this is definitely the book. But it is to...
• A little life (I actually started reading it now and it seems a bit pretentious / entitled; not my cup of tea but it’s also an absolute unit so I know I’ll change my mind)
• I don’t want something bleak just for the sake of being bleak. All of the books above have some kind of emotional or hopeful payoff. (So no A Little Life for me lol.)
• A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. I know a lot of troubled and deeply traumatised individuals and this book, in my opinion, is completely unbelievable.
• A Little Life is so devastating that it’s become my life’s mission to convince people to NOT read that book. It’s very good, but it’s the heaviest book I’ve ever read.
