- Recently I tried the audiobook for *A Deadly Education* and although the narrator had a pleasant voice, and I'd listen to her read something else, I was so bothered by the fact that she wasn't Welsh that I couldn't continue.

A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik - Does the whole magic school thing better than Harry Potter in just about every imaginable way.
Recently I tried the audiobook for *A Deadly Education* and although the narrator had a pleasant voice, and I'd listen to her read something else, I was so bothered by the fact that she wasn't Welsh that I couldn't continue.
The wife and I just had a blast reading A Deadly Education. It’s an interesting (imo) twist on the boarding school trope.
