28 Years Later

Pros

• I'm so excited for this, the ending of 28 years later was a bit jarring but I still loved the movie.
• my top 10 goes One Battle After Another, Weapons, Sinners, Eddington, Blue Moon, 28 Years Later, It Was Just an Accident, Roofman, Sentimental Value, and Frankenstein!
• I think this is one of the most interesting and challenging takes anyone has had on the zombie genre in a very long time.
• Fave horrors so far (some are from 2024 but are tagged as 2025 releases): * 28 Years Later
• Days is the best probably and years is close.

Cons

• I'm a bit disappointed that Son Lux's score for *Thunderbolts** and Young Fathers' score for *28 Years Later* were not shortlisted
• Alpha zombies and different levels in “zombie society” kind of shit all over that, which is a major reason 28 Years Later couldn’t match 28 Days Later.
• 28 Years Later was such trash!! I really wanted it to be good too.
• Personally I HATED 28 Years Later, like a lot. I think it’s an awful zombie movie.
• Similar to 28 Years Later, core fans wanted a zombie movie and didn’t like getting bait and switched into an Oscar contender lol
