I think about The Glass Castle to this day. It haunts me. Without any spoilers, there are parts that pop into my mind about children and poverty regularly. It’s rare that I read a book that actually changes me.

Have you read Educated by Tara Westover, or Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie? Both excellent reads.

Parent context: It’s been in my to-read list for a long time because the cult aspect sounded interesting, so I might go ahead and pick it up! Thank you. Reply: It’s SO good. One of my favorite books.
