AI summary — not a quote

The TCL QM67K is a highly-regarded, retailer-specific variant of the QM6 series (often identified as the QM6K Pro or Costco exclusive). It is widely praised for offering a near-premium experience at a budget-friendly price point, featuring an HVA panel, 120Hz refresh rate for gaming, and an anti-reflective coating that distinguishes it from the base QM6K. While it lacks some of the high-end coatings and peak brightness of the QM7K or QM8, most users find the performance gap doesn't justify the significant price jump to those models.

Pros

  • Excellent value-to-performance ratio, especially when purchased on sale.
  • High brightness levels that perform well in bright living rooms.
  • Smooth 120Hz performance for gaming on consoles like the PS5.
  • Features a semi-gloss anti-reflective coating similar to higher-end models.

Cons

  • Some users report that HDR content can occasionally appear too dark.
  • Lacks the 'CrystGlow' coating found on the QM7K and QM8 series.
  • Out-of-the-box colors may appear 'natural' or 'dull' compared to the 'wow' factor of more expensive units.

Yeah, the QM67K is the Costco exclusive version of the QM6K in Canada featuring the same HVA panel as the QM7K.

I love my qm67k from costco. It plays my ps5 well at 120 hz. Been playing cod warzone and borderlands 4 with zero issues

Best Buy doesn’t have the qm67k that’s the Costco version which is better than regular 6k, Costco US calls it 6k pro

Ended up going with the qm67k through Costco, 6 years of warranty. Can’t beat that. Overall I’m very happy with the qm67k and I wouldn’t know any different unless maybe a QM7K was side by side.

LG OLED TVs are widely considered the benchmark for picture quality in the home theater community, praised specifically for their perfect black levels and superior motion handling. They are frequently used as the primary display in high-end setups and are increasingly popular in smaller sizes (42" and 48") for PC gaming. While they are technically superior to most projectors and LCDs in contrast, some users find them lacking in peak brightness compared to modern Mini-LED alternatives.

Pros

  • Industry-leading black levels and contrast
  • Excellent motion handling with few reported issues
  • Versatile sizing options ranging from 42" for desktop use to 83" for home theaters
  • Strong compatibility with external hardware like Apple TV, Denon receivers, and Nvidia Shield

Cons

  • Lower peak brightness compared to high-end Mini-LED TVs
  • Internal hardware limitations, specifically slow 100mbps ethernet ports
  • Occasional quality control issues leading to panel returns

I originally wanted an LG OLED but have zero regrets so far about the TCL.

I just got a Valerion and it’s a beast, almost as good as my LG OLED.

In terms of TVs, I’d skimp on size and go for an LG OLED.

The LG is probably the only one it fails to beat on picture.

Slightly better black levels on OLED, but much worse brightness as well.
