personally I read Precious Little Sleep and used the sleeptrain sub despite not wanting to do it originally because I was becoming dangerously sleep deprived and it was putting both our lives at risk .. it helped me a lot

Going to echo another commenter's recommendation of Precious Little Sleep. We were blessed with a decent night sleeper, but it was helpful for naps and for getting him used to falling asleep in his crib

I listened to the audio version of precious little sleep. The book does cover various sleep training methods but also information about naps, schedules, and baby sleep in general. I feel like I learned a lot from it in a way that made sense, so I always suggest it.

I would recommend the book Precious Little Sleep. I was so nervous about sleep, I bought every book. This was the most helpful. It has methods to try before sleep training that focus on getting the baby to soothe themselves.

Unsolicited, but the book and accompanying subreddit "Overcoming Gravity" I've found to be an excellent resource but it is diving into the DEEP END of things. I love nerding out and getting into the weeds, but it can be intimidating and more than some people want.

FWIW, I've always thought ab wheel rollout as an intermediate skill based on the progression charts in Overcoming Gravity -- as in most ppl can achieve it with enough time and the right progressions.
