PikaOS is good, if you don’t like rolling release I’d go with mint or Pop.

Mint XFCE! Cinnamon one can perform quite bad on lower end machines, for example on my T480 (i5-8350u) it works quite bad, compared to something like KDE Plasma.
But I tested Mint (XFCE), Fedora (KDE) and Ubuntu and Mint used the less amount if RAM
