The Wawona has almost none [water intrusion], despite the partial fly and being in torrential rain for multiple days straight.

Parent context: This review video made me buy the Wawona 6 tent. Never looking back. I love it. Spoiler for the review: It withstands heavy rain. Reply: This review also made me buy it as well!! So far in heavy “atmospheric river” rain. We were in about 3” for about 1 1/2 days and it stayed dry. We fit 2 queens in but it touches the side walls of the tent. Had no issues.

The Wawona 6 looked like it was perfect--it had that same roughly 10x8' footprint. It's tall... It has that amazing vestibule that we can use to change the kids in and out of bathingsuit, store gear, and have a place out of the bugs when we're settling the boys down to sleep. It keeps water out.

I purchased an orange one and set it up in the yard to try it and hated the color so so much that I returned it. I love a lot of orange colors, but this orange was like a faded neon traffic cone. The brown that it is stitched to reminded myself and the person setting it up with me of newborn baby poop. Overall we returned it, I might have gotten a gray one but the floor size was a little small for us and headroom in the vestibule too low.

I have the Snow Peak Alpha Breeze and I love it for me, my partner, and our dog. However, it’s a little more challenging to set up alone than other tents due to the heavy metal poles and the old school pin design (where you hook the polls into the tent body). You absolutely need a second person to help.

Love it!! Our family of four (two kiddos) sleep comfortably in it. Love the front overhang.

For the quality, craftsmanship, materials, and build… the extra few poles and straps are worth it. I love these poles for how strong they are. The are smooth fitting with nothing extruding and they glide through the sleeves with incredible ease.

I don't have much to compare it to, but I love our alpha breeze! My husband and I slept with our heads at the rear wall this weekend and I didn't even notice the lack of head space. He's 6' tall.

Great tent! It’s my favorite tent and I used to own several MSR and Big Agnes tents prior. Those were geared more for backpacking so hard to compare but regardless the Alpha is my favorite.
