The bundle that microcenter is offering seems like a good deal, and I am worried that it would be gone soon because prices will just be rising I fear.
Since MicroCenter is available, definitely utilize their deals. You're paying 30% the price of a full platform upgrade from MC for just 16gb of DDR4.
Honestly, if your buddy let you sell that RAM you could step into AM5 with a microcenter bundle. I would.
You have a MicroCenter, so it makes huge financial sense to go for a bundle.
I'd get this bundle https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/bundle-and-save.aspx

This is genuinly probably the best price to performence pc that you can get right now, and yes it will easily play most modern game at max 1080p settings over 60fps.
If any of these are in stock, I'd just buy it instead. It's nearly impossible to beat PowerSpec pricing.
This is the PC I would recommend in your situation: https://www.microcenter.com/product/698874/powerspec-g527-gaming-pc
Just buy https://www.microcenter.com/product/698874/powerspec-g527-gaming-pc lad. Hopefully ur not too far from a microcenter.
I just purchased this PC yesterday and everything seemed fine while I was using it for browsing and gaming yesterday but this morning while browsing on edge, the PC froze and then restarted automatically twice within 30 minutes.
