The bundle that microcenter is offering seems like a good deal, and I am worried that it would be gone soon because prices will just be rising I fear.
Since MicroCenter is available, definitely utilize their deals. You're paying 30% the price of a full platform upgrade from MC for just 16gb of DDR4.
Honestly, if your buddy let you sell that RAM you could step into AM5 with a microcenter bundle. I would.
You have a MicroCenter, so it makes huge financial sense to go for a bundle.
I'd get this bundle https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/bundle-and-save.aspx

Microcenter has their prebuild Powerspec series, they're pretty good values considering where the market is right now on individual parts.
If you have access to Microcenter their powerspec prebuilts are usually more affordable than building your own right now.
Agreed, MC's brand of prebuilts (powerspec) is actually pretty good, they are one of the few that gets my thumbs up.
I'd get the powerspec. 7700x + 5060ti will be stronger in gaming than 9700x + 5060
They’re the Microcenter house brand.
