Deepal G318 vs Rivian R2

Deepal G318 would be the better choice of all of them. Would recommend to get the air suspension if you prefer comfort... Deepal is REEV and the others are not. So you get pure EV kind drive always. It will be better driving experience than the others. IMO it will be easy to maintain and have less issues compared to others as it lacks some components (for good) when compared to others like transmission, gearbox etc.

Would highly recommend the Deepal G318. I own one and has been amazing so far with really good efficiency.

If you have a place to charge at home, Deepal 100%. Tank is great, but thirsty.

R2 is great, a Rivian version of the Model Y would help Rivian as a cheaper mass-market crossover or small SUV.

I genuinely hope the R2 brings Rivian to the next level. With this update that sounds like it’s a possibility. ... I would love more than anything to replace mine with an R2 in the future.

If Rivian gets a solid, 280-300 mile R2 on the market in the low- to mid-$50K range, they will eat Jeep's breakfast **and** lunch.

The fact that people who research Rivian know that the R2 is not far off is almost certainly causing a drop in demand for the R1. I'm eyeing the R2 as a replacement for my 2018 Model 3.
